Osteopaths can help treat a wide variety of joint problems and joint pains. If the joints are inflamed,
stiff or aching then osteopaths can use manipulation and mobilization, to reduce compression at those
levels. Osteopaths can also help alleviate muscle spasm or tension that may be compressing the joint.
If there is any nerve pain or impingement associated then this can also be treated.
Shoulder, arm and hand problems
- such as frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, nerve pain or entrapment,
arthritis are just a few of the conditions that osteopaths can see. A combination of massage,
mobilisation and adjustment, advice and exercises can help to treat and relieve many problems.
Acupuncture & or Ultrasound can also be used, for example to treat tennis elbow or frozen shoulder
problems, which can bring great benefit, especially when combined with osteopathy. Please note that
acupuncture & ultrasound are used only if the patient consents.
Hip, knee, ankle and foot problems - Osteopaths can help treat sciatica, sports injuries, twisted ankles,
muscle spasm or cramps, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, & many more.
